The BoardModelTM business
concept is to increase the competitive strength of our
customers by supplying state of the art technology for
process optimization and control. With information about
the chemical composition of the raw material and with
real-time predictions of the quality of the product,
boards of the right quality can be produced. This will
lead to reduced standard deviation in product quality,
which means cost savings in terms of lower energy and
raw material costs.
Board System owns the
equipment and takes responsibility for installation,
programming, staff training, continuous system
calibration and system improvements. In return, the
customer pays a moderate down payment to cover some of
the start-up costs and a fixed monthly fee. The customer
is entitled to cancel the contract at short notice.
